We're Saturday House Studios - a small but mighty digital agency in Mandurah, and we build powerful digital spaces. We need a
Freelance Graphic Designer
who is genuinely excellent at what they do, ready to jump onto client projects, and can handle the freedom of project-based work.
If your portfolio screams competence and your design philosophy focuses on conversion and clarity (not just aesthetics), we should talk.
The Mission
We're looking for someone who can craft effective visual solutions for a wide range of clients. This is purely project-based work, meaning you'll partner with us when a client project needs your specific genius. Your main tasks will include:
* Website Design: Designing high-fidelity visual concepts for websites that are user-focused, fast, and align with a strategic brief.
* Performance Creative: Developing paid ad graphics and video concepts for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads that stop the scroll and drive action.
* Email & Social Assets: Creating bespoke, on-brand graphics for email campaigns and social media feeds that maintain a high standard of quality and consistency.
* Branding Support: Assisting with visual identity projects, including defining style guides and creating core brand assets.
What We Need From You
* A Solid Portfolio: Evidence of effective digital design across various mediums (web, social, paid media). This is non-negotiable.
* Technical Fluency: High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or modern design tools like Figma.
* Digital-First Mindset: You understand the constraints and best practices for digital platforms - file size, responsive design, and accessibility are always top-of-mind.
* Reliability & Autonomy: You manage your own time, meet deadlines consistently, and communicate clearly. You're a problem solver, not a clock-puncher.
* Local Connection (Bonus): Being based in or around Mandurah, WA, is a huge advantage for occasional in-person collaboration, but talented remote designers are still encouraged to apply.
