Part-time position available, based within the CQ region and requiring travel.
The salary for this role is between $42 and $45.54 per hour, plus Superannuation and Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging up to $18,550.

We are seeking a Mental Health Clinician to provide high-quality counselling and support the mental health and wellbeing of older individuals in aged care facilities.
* Provide individual and group counselling sessions to residents in aged care facilities, helping them navigate mental health challenges.
* Assess and address the unique needs of each client using ethical frameworks and professional judgment.
* Increase mental health awareness among aged care facility staff, families, and carers to create a supportive environment.
* Collaborate with aged care facilities, families, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to mental wellbeing.
About You
We require someone with a strong background in mental health and a passion for supporting older adults:
* Experience in individual counselling therapy, with a focus on mental health, trauma, and family conflict.
* Knowledge of mental health recovery principles, the social model of health, and community networks.
* Familiarity with therapeutic approaches such as ACT, mindfulness, and brief therapy.
* Previous experience working with older adults is highly regarded but not essential.
* Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Email, databases).
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Counselling, Social Work, Nursing, or a similar field.
They must also maintain relevant annual registration and/or membership of a professional body.
