The role
Our Sydney depot based at Moorebank require an enthusiastic & experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and drive the operations of our distribution hub.
This role is both hands on and clerical in nature. The right candidate will be able to: multitask in a fast paced environment, be accountable, punctual, reliable and highly organised. A good work ethic & the ability to drive and manage a small team are a must.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
* Management of warehouse staff & daily running of warehouse.
* Provide guidance, mentoring and training to the team.
* Hold the team to a high level of work standards and productivity.
* Ensure all health, safety and security procedures are adhered to
* Engage in a positive manner with clients, suppliers and visitors to the warehouse.
* Managing of Goods inward/outwards
* Supervising Loading of delivery vehicles
* Managing and Maintaining QA & OHS
* Managing regular Stocktakes and Cycle Counts
* Managing Pallet Control
* Book transport with local third parties
Whilst training will be provided, the successful candidate must possess the following:
* Previous Warehouse Managerial experience is essential
* Current Drivers and LF Licences
* High level of physical fitness
* High level of computer literacy, including working knowledge and experience of an automated WMS
* Good knowledge of the MS Office suite, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy relative to data analysis and entry
* Good English language skills both oral & written
* Enthusiastic & able to work autonomously in a fast paced environment
* Display common sense and adaptability in all situations
* Commitment to promoting a Lean, Clean, Tidy, Efficient & Organised operational work environment
* Be a permanent resident with no working restrictions.
Highly desirable, but not necessary:
* QA and/or OHS experience
* Good geographical knowledge of Greater Sydney metro area
