About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and charismatic person to join our Concierge team that priorities diversity and inclusion in a professional and fun working environment. This role is on a Part time basis for 4 - 5 shifts per week.
Concierge are responsible for answering questions, giving direction and making detailed reservations or recommendations. This position requires knowledge of hotel services, local events and venues and transportation options. This offers the opportunity to engage in casual conversation and to indulge special requests.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- make recommendations and offer guidance on the surrounding area for various guest requests
- Coordinate and manage requests for special arrangements (VIP arrivals/ departures, birthdays, anniversaries, proposals)
- Responsible for greeting and welcoming guests
- Act as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information and attend to their wishes and requirements
- Understand customers' needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the hotel.
- Arrange events, excursions, transportation etc., upon request from hotel residents.
- Manage mail, luggage, deliveries, and messages for guests.
- Assist with Valet Parking.
**Qualifications**:
- Outstanding guest services skills, sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of local area and attractions
- A valid driver's license and at least two-years driving experience.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Similar role experience highly regarded
