Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Young Facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our property and assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Property Maintenance: Undertake routine maintenance tasks to ensure the property remains in good condition, including electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry and building work, gardening maintenance, and general cleaning.
* Preventative Maintenance: Monitor and oversee preventative maintenance activities, including regular checks and maintenance of equipment and systems, to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
* Reactive Maintenance: Respond to reactive maintenance requests, identifying and addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain service delivery outcomes.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
* Work Health and Safety: Contribute to the development and implementation of Work Health and Safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment for staff and visitors.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Trade qualifications or experience in a related field (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
* Skills: Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
* Experience: Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in an aged care or healthcare setting.
