Job Description
The daily routine of a Gardener at Cater Care encompasses a variety of tasks, including:
* Maintain and enhance site grounds and garden
* Turf management, tree and shrub maintenance, mowing, weed control, and watering the grounds
* Maintain camp facilities in a serviceable and presentable condition, which will include all minor repairs
* Maintain yards at the site in a presentable level as required in contractual requirements
* Refer to site job routines for daily duties
* Safety Health and Environment
* Working as key members of our remote maintenance teams
* Provide proactive maintenance to structures and services as required
* Industrial cleaning where required
* Operate and maintain equipment and machinery
Desired Skills and Experience
Our ideal candidate will require the following:
* A collaborative individual skilled (12 months + ) in managing multiple tasks in high-pressure settings
* Capable of enduring extended shifts (11.5 hours) in a dynamic work environment
* Experience in general maintenance or a background in trades or labor is preferred
* Familiarity with chemical handling is advantageous
* Capability to function effectively both independently and collaboratively with team members
* A dedication to providing authentic and friendly customer service
* A driven, enthusiastic, and positive attitude with a 'can-do' spirit
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, occasionally for extended durations
* A strong sense of personal appearance and hygiene
* A top-notch safety-oriented mindset
* Possession of a forklift certification is preferred
* Mandatory Requirement - Manual Driver's License
* Mandatory Requirement - Cert III Horticulture
* National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
