About the Role
The Youth Justice Services Division is responsible for the safety, security, and rehabilitation of young people in the community and custody. The key role of the Community Work Officer is to work with young people on community work obligations, ensuring they meet their requirements, make reparation, and develop skills for rehabilitation.
Eligibility and Requirements
Current manual driver’s license (class C) for driving vehicles, including 4WDs, and travel may be required, including overnight stays and flights.
Australian citizenship or permanent resident status for permanent positions.
Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one.
