What you will do
Your daily duties may include:
* Prepare and present high-quality meals for residents and guests, catering to dietary needs and preferences.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen in line with food safety standards.
* Coordinate kitchen operations with household staff to ensure seamless service.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to security protocols.
* Work flexibly, including weekends and evenings as required.
What you will bring
We are looking for candidates with:
* a Certificate or diploma in commercial cookery or similar qualification.
* proven experience as a chef in a comparable setting.
* strong organisational and communication skills.
* knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS practices in accordance with the Food Act 2001, Food Regulation 2002 and the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.
* a completion of a food safety training course or equivalent knowledge.
* a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
* an Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance (including police check).
* professional presentation and attention to detail.
* a current driver's licence or willingness to obtain one.
