Logistics Support Specialist
This role requires an experienced Logistics Support Officer to deliver critical logistics and sustainment services in a dynamic Defence environment.
The successful candidate will work within established frameworks, policies, and procedures to plan, manage, and execute complex materiel logistics activities.
* Preparing, reviewing, and coordinating logistics documentation is a key aspect of this role.
* Providing advice on logistics management methodologies is also a significant responsibility.
* The Logistics Support Officer will plan, schedule, and estimate tasks to meet operational requirements.
* Conducting and assisting with risk assessments, tracking activities against project schedules is essential.
* Managing staff, attending meetings, and contributing to review sessions are also important duties.
* The Logistics Support Officer will be responsible for delivering a wide range of logistics support functions including inventory management, cataloguing and procurement, repair and calibration coordination, stock assessments, adjustments, and obsolescence management, configuration and financial management support, disposal coordination, reporting and compliance activities, and operational support and governance activities.
About the Role:
* Proven experience in integrated logistics support is a must.
* A strong understanding of inventory, procurement, and sustainment processes is also required.
* A NV1 or higher security clearance is necessary.
