Status:
Temporary, Part Time (0.4 FTE) (10 months with possibility of extension)
Salary range:
$30, $72, per annum, pro rata) dependent on age, skills, qualifications and experience
Opportunity:
Albany Regional Day Care is looking for a passionate, experienced and dedicated individual to fulfill a temporary part-time position within the team for approximately 30.4 hours per fortnight.
In this role you will report to the Child Care Educator Team Leader, with your duties seeing you:
* Working with children and their families on a daily basis;
* Assisting in providing quality programs for children based on their needs and interests;
* Working as part of a cohesive team of passionate Child Care Educators; and
* Generally assisting in the day-to-day running of the Centre.
To be successful in this role you will need:
* A passion for working with children;
* The ability to communicate well with the team and parents;
* Knowledge of Children's Services, the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
* Qualifications including a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, First Aid and Working with Children Check; and
* The ability to manage the demands of a busy workplace.
