As a Senior Executive Assistant and Administrative Team Coordinator, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Senior Executives of the Mergers and Exemptions Assessments Division and lead the Division's administration team.
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the MEAD administration team, including staff management, timesheet oversight, delegation, adherence to ACCC policies, strategic planning and coordination.
Oversee day-to-day administration, secretariat support for committees, branch management, Freedom of Information requests, telephone screening, preparation for Senate Estimates and Parliamentary Committees.
Procure, budget and recruit; maintain records, statistical data and compliance with Timekeeper requirements.
Provide executive support: diary management, meeting preparation, task assistance to meet Corporate Division and Executive Office requirements.
Liaise with other ACCC Divisions and attend inter-divisional meetings as required.
Monitor and promote Division compliance with ACCC policies, keeping abreast of key issues and developments.
Undertake additional duties as required.
The Administration Team, As a Whole, Has Responsibility For
Maintaining public register information and managing statistical information.
Processing and managing paper and electronic records, ensuring confidentiality.
Entering project information into the ACCC information system.
Monitoring and distributing emails, answering telephones.
Preparing financial and operational reports.
Providing secretariat services to Division committees.
Arranging meetings and travel.
Liaising with ACCC corporate services for HR and finance matters.
Providing litigation support and administering legal and expert funding allocations.
Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrated experience leading a team or similar role in a fast-paced, large, complex, people-centred organisation.
Ability to supervise and develop staff, build team capacity, encourage career development, manage performance feedback.
Strategic thinking to identify gaps, propose solutions, problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; collaborative within multidisciplinary teams.
Independent work with limited direction; deliver quality outcomes against priorities.
Deliver project and operational deliverables within deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
Maintain awareness of long-term operational outcomes and potential impacts.
Make sound decisions on complex tasks with confidentiality and professionalism.
Basic understanding of the ACCC's role, purpose and objectives, or ability to acquire such knowledge quickly.
The Following Job Specific Criteria Are Also Highly Desirable
Prior experience as a senior executive assistant and team coordinator or manager performing similar tasks.
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics and iManage.

Salary
$99,562 – $111,590 per annum (plus 15.4% superannuation).
