Job Profile
The position of Senior Technical Officer – Biomedical Electronics involves providing high-quality technical services for the implementation, maintenance, and installation of medical equipment and systems.
As a key member of the Technical Services Division in the Health Technology Management Unit (HTMU), you will contribute to delivering efficient and effective healthcare services across various sites.
You will be based at Rockingham General Hospital but may be required to work across sites within the South Metropolitan and East Metropolitan Health Services to meet operational requirements.
1. Deliver expert technical guidance for the implementation, repair, maintenance, quality assurance, and installation of medical equipment and systems.
2. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve objectives and improve services.
3. Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
4. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
* Relevant technical qualification or experience in biomedical electronics is essential.
* Ability to provide technical support and guidance to staff.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
* Capacity to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
