Anglo American Steelmaking CoalSteelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world.Job Description :Reporting to the Surface Infrastructure Superintendent, the Surface Electrical Coordinator is responsible for leading a team of surface electrical personnel to complete statutory and general work orders on the mine.Coordinate and lead a team to ensure Work Order compliance weekly and yearly including planning and execution.Ensure projects are completed to time and budget, and to high quality standards.Provide technical leadership for the surface electrical maintenance department.Plan for the electrical equipment and systems to operate in demanding conditions at the mine site.Assist the Surface Infrastructure Superintendent by planning and providing engineering support for the production sectionInstallation, design, construction and commissioning electrical equipment and systems.installing, testing, maintaining, repairing, and reporting on all electrical equipment used at the mine.Provide trouble-shooting support to improve operational efficiencies.Work cooperatively with other departments, project managers, supply chain and mine management to optimize production, reduce costs, solve problems, and meet deadlines.Qualifications :Current Electrical License or Electrical tertiary qualificationElectrical and Underground Mining Trade experience (advantageous)S11, S123 and G2Demonstrated experience in delivering key projectsDisplay ability to be able to collaborate and communicate across different levels of the organizationProject management skills to ensure the overhaul is delivered to scope, on time and within budgetExceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detailExperience with SAP or other computerized maintenance management systemsAn intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office suite of programAdditional information :Monday to Friday rosterSubsidised accommodation & relocation assistance availableWhat we OfferWhen you join Anglo American, you can expect to enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package.
