Are you passionate about making a difference in patient care? Nepean Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic Pharmacy Department. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive, innovative environment within one of Western Sydney's leading teaching hospitals.
As a Pharmacy Technician you will play a key role in supporting the safe and effective delivery of medications to our patients. Working alongside pharmacists and clinical staff, your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications, maintaining accurate inventory records and stock control, supporting medication supply to wards, clinics and dispensaries, participating in sterile and non-sterile compounding (as required) and upholding quality assurance and safety standards in accordance with NSW Health guidelines

**What you will bring to the role**
- Successfully completed a qualification in a relevant field recognised by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia or up to the level of Certificate III issued by a Registered Training Organisation in Hospital and community Pharmacy (eg Charles Sturt University) or has qualifications deemed by the Health Administration Corporation to be equivalent or successfully completed a nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course at Certificate Level IV or has qualifications deemed by the Health Administration Corporation to be equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a busy environment and possess good time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate well with the other staff working as part of the team.
- Demonstrated good attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output.
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Previous Australian Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
