This is a full-time permanent position commencing immediately teaching English. The role provides the opportunity to contribute to a structured learning environment that values academic growth, student wellbeing, and positive classroom culture.
The role
* Teach Year 7 --10 English
* Year 7 History
* Engaging, syllabus-aligned lessons
* Deliver structured instruction and differentiated learning for mixed-ability students
* Maintain high behavioural expectations and a positive classroom environment
* Support students' understanding of historical concepts, inquiry skills, and critical thinking
* Contribute to faculty planning and collaborative teaching initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds relevant secondary teaching qualifications
* Is NESA accredited or eligible for accreditation
* Experienced in teaching English at the secondary level
* Demonstrates strong classroom management and explicit instructional practice
* Passionate about student learning, engagement, and development
* Strong communication and organisational skills
