HSE Advisor
The HSE Advisor will monitor and assist in continuously improving Sea Swift's Workplace Health and Safety Compliance and Training programs to meet legislative requirements. Also provide comprehensive advice and service to management and staff on Sea Swift's Workplace Health and Safety, Marine and Training related matters.
What you will doing:
* Review of incident reporting.
* Work closely with HSEQ Manager on HSE compliance issues.
* Support Drug and Alcohol testing program.
* Support the event management software (SAI365)
* Risk Management
* Support implementation of projects in the Sea Swift Sustainability Plan
* Development of safety representatives across the region
* Support relevant HSE investigations (ICAM/ 5 Whys).
* Provide internal HSEQ service delivery to all departments
* Conduct regular visits of remote depots and on vessels to support improved health and safety performance and cultural change.
What we ideally require from you:
Qualifications and experience
* Cert IV or Diploma in Health and Safety or willingness to obtain.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
* Current driver's licence.
* Demonstrated and sound health safety compliance and training experience / qualifications
* Current Rehabilitation Certificate (willingness to obtain).
* Drug and alcohol testing officer qualification (willingness to obtain).
* 2 years' experience within the marine industry (desirable)
