In preparation for the forthcoming academic year, we are calling for expressions of interest for teaching positions at Ipswich Grammar School for 2026 in our Secondary School. Whilst we are calling for expressions of interest for all teaching areas, candidates with the ability to teach Senior English and/or Humanities, and Science would be highly regarded.
Teachers will be expected to:
- Be innovative, highly motivated and organised in the planning and delivery of the respective educational curriculum;
- Support the strategic educational development of the School;
- Represent the School in a professional and considered manner;
- Develop and utilise data to inform good practice and appropriate change;
- Demonstrate support for the school by regular attendance at school functions and out of school activities, including extra-curricular; and
- Have a special interest, passion and expertise in the education of boys.
About you:
- Appropriate qualification in education:
- Queensland College of Teacher’s registration or the ability to gain registration, is essential; and
- Proactively contribute to wider school programmes.
- Graduate and early careers teachers are encouraged to apply. Only applicants with current Queensland Teachers College Registration will be considered for this position.
