About the role
The Assistant Store Manager (Gyprock) is a Full-time position, based at our Bayswater North, VIC store reporting to the Store Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing customer service, assisting in managing daily store activities, maintaining high standards of displays and merchandising, and contributing to achieving store revenue and margin budgets.
Work Hours : Monday to Friday, between 6:00 am and 3:00 pm.
In this role you assist with the below :
Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
Support the sales/operational activities of the store.
Ensure the store meets budget, including reviewing the areas of potential store improvement.
Promote and manage catalogue sales and campaigns in the store to grow category sales and maintain margin.
Previous leadership experience is desirable, as well as a demonstrated ability to work well in a small team.
Contribute to creating a positive working environment, and a passion for providing a great customer experience.
Forklift licence is essential.
