Talent Acquisition Lead - Fitness and Lifestyle Group Assoc CIPD

As our Email & Marketing Automation Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of how millions of members interact with our brands - Goodlife Health Clubs, Fitness First, Zap Fitness, Jetts New Zealand and Barry’s.

This is your chance to take ownership of campaigns and customer journeys within a complex marketing ecosystem powered by data, technology and automation. From designing personalised lifecycle journeys to delivering impactful multi-channel campaigns, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our members experience FLG every single day.

We’re looking for someone who blends technical know-how with creative problem-solving – someone who loves optimising campaigns, digging into data, and finding smarter ways to engage and retain our community.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, optimise and manage automated customer journeys across email, SMS and push channels.
- Deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that align with brand objectives and drive engagement.
- Use segmentation, triggers and dynamic content to create personalised communications.
- Partner with data teams to ensure campaign audiences are accurate, effective and actionable.
- Monitor campaign performance, report on engagement metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Apply SQL and reporting tools to build dashboards and track lifecycle outcomes.
- Standardise workflows and conduct QA to ensure campaigns are timely, accurate and compliant.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Operations teams to deliver seamless lifecycle initiatives.
- Share best practices and insights to lift adoption of automation and lifecycle processes across the business.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide projects, supporting the rollout of new tools, features and processes.

About You

You’re someone who thrives at the intersection of data, technology and creativity. You know how to make campaigns not just work but resonate. You bring both technical confidence and a sharp eye for detail, paired with the curiosity to keep testing, learning and improving.

Here’s what you’ll bring to the team:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in email, CRM or lifecycle marketing.
- Confidence working with enterprise platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
- Solid SQL skills and the ability to turn data into smarter targeting and reporting.
- Strong project management skills – you’re organised, proactive and can juggle multiple priorities with ease.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills – you can collaborate, influence and bring people on the journey.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for accuracy, quality and continuous improvement.
- Curiosity, ambition and a collaborative spirit – you’re always looking for better ways to do things and enjoy working as part of a team.
