South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organisation focused on supporting disadvantaged individuals across various services including Disability Services, Foster Care, and more. With teams operating throughout the South Burnett area, we strive to create an inclusive environment that offers essential support to people of all ages and backgrounds.

As a registered NDIS provider, we empower individuals with disabilities by offering tailored support that fosters independence and community engagement. Our commitment to quality care aligns with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards, ensuring our participants receive the best possible support.


Position Overview


The Disability Support Worker plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support to our participants, actively working towards their goals as outlined in their NDIS Plan. This position is vital in empowering individuals to thrive and achieve their aspirations through compassionate and respectful care.


Candidate Profile


We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities, with the following qualifications and attributes:

* Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or relevant qualification preferred.
* Experience in personal care and supporting individuals with challenging behaviours.
* Strong commitment to fostering respect and inclusion for individuals with disabilities.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
* Possession of a current Queensland Open Driver's Licence.
* First Aid and CPR certification.
* Working with Children Blue Card.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and learning.

Successful candidates will demonstrate compassion, flexibility, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment while adhering to NDIS quality standards and organisational policies.


Salary & Benefits


The Disability Support Worker position is casual with a competitive hourly rate of $43.23 (SCHCADS Level 2.1) plus salary packaging options. You will receive ongoing support and training opportunities to enhance your skills and career growth.
