We are seeking skilled Analytics Engineer to for one of our Global Client to join their Asset Analysis & Modelling team.
Working within an engineering-led analytics team, you will use your expertise in Snowflake SQL, Python, and SAP data structures to design high-quality data models and pipelines to support advanced analysis that drives strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with external developers and internal technology teams to develop smooth data integration between front-end and back-end systems to ensure high-quality, reliable data foundations that enable confident performance insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain Snowflake SQL data models and pipelines supporting asset performance analytics.
* Clean, transform, and validate SAP maintenance, materials, and operational datasets for component reliability and lifecycle analysis.
* Develop simple PowerBI and Excel reports to support subject matter expert review and user data validation.
* Collaborate with technology teams and external application developers to enable efficient data access between systems.
* Drive continuous improvement in data quality through investigation, testing, and proactive issue resolution.
* Use GitHub for version control, code review, and collaborative development.
* Maintain documentation, and governance across all analytical systems.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience (3+ years) in data and analytics.
* Strong proficiency with SQL Server / Snowflake and for data modelling, transformation, and automation (essential).
* Proven experience working with SAP PM / CMMS data is strongly desirable. Experience within Mining Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) environment in maintenance, reliability, planning or engineering roles is strongly desirable.
* Proficiency with Python, Microsoft PowerBI and Excel (desirable).
