Position Overview
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for leading and executing SEO strategies that drive organic growth, improve website health, and align with client business objectives.
This role manages technical, on-page, and off-page SEO activities, coordinates internal and external resources, and ensures SEO best practices are implemented across all client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy and Planning
* Develop and refine SEO strategies based on client goals, ranking shifts, and business priorities.
* Conduct keyword research, keyword prioritisation, and content mapping.
* Confirm monthly SEO focus areas in collaboration with account teams.
2. Technical SEO
* Schedule and manage monthly technical SEO activities.
3. On-Page SEO and Content Strategy
* Creation of SEO-optimised content including titles, meta descriptions, header structures, internal linking, and image optimisation.
* Content creation aligned with keyword strategies.
* Implement local SEO strategies
4. Off-Page SEO
* Backlink acquisition and online reputation management.
5. Client Management and Reporting
* Present SEO audit findings, keyword strategies, and monthly performance reports.
* Highlight key wins, issues, and next steps for internal and client discussions.
6. Internal Collaboration
* Liaise with the Account Management and Web Development teams to ensure seamless SEO execution.
Key Skills and Competencies
* Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
* Proficient in using relevant software's such as Semrush, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, and Site Speed Insights.
* Ability to interpret SEO data and translate it into actionable strategies.
* Excellent keyword research, content planning, and SEO writing skills.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience and Qualifications
* 3+ years' experience in SEO strategy and execution.
* Demonstrated success in improving organic performance for multiple clients or brands.
* Experience managing SEO projects across different industries.
* Strong technical SEO background preferred.
* Experience working with remote teams and SEO support agencies a plus.
