About the Role
Dynamic has an exciting opportunity available for an Apprentice Plumber – Eastern Suburbs. You will work with Qualified Plumbers to gain practical experience and training to become a qualified Plumbing Tradesman through a combination of ‘on the job training’ and ‘off the job education’ at a third-party training provider to obtain a Certificate III in Plumbing over four years. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
* Carry out WHS requirements
* Use plumbing hand and power tools
* Mark out materials
* Work safely on roofs
* Fabricate and install roof drainage components
* Install gas piping systems, Type A Gas Appliances, and domestic treatment plants
* Install discharge pipes, below ground sanitary drainage systems, and fit off sanitary fixtures
* Fabricate and install sanitary stacks
* Set out and install water services
Apprentices are required to attend a Registered Training Organization (RTO) for ‘off the job’ training, usually one day a week or in one-week blocks.
About You
* Current and valid driver’s license
* Construction induction card (White Card)
* Strong communication skills
* Knowledge of HS&E policies and procedures
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Willingness and determination to learn
* Ability to follow instructions from a mentor
* Appropriate hand tools for plumbing installations
