Our client, ERINFAIR PTY LTD T/AS Bunbury Bunbury Farmers Market, is currently seeking experienced Butchers to join their kitchen team at two locations: Glen Iris (Bunbury Farmers Markets) and Vasse (Vasse Village by Bunbury Farmers Market).
Duties & Responsibilities
* Cuts, trims, tenderizes, and grinds meat using various equipment
* Maintains equipment for daily use.
* Assists with wrapping meat, stocking the meat case, and arranging the display case.
* Assesses the production needs and rotates merchandise.
* Follows proper safety procedures and standards. Maintains the sales area.
* Complies with health code by following sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures.
Qualifications and Experience
* All relevant experience will be considered. For applicants with a relevant Australian trade certificate or qualification / training, less experience will also be considered.
* A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude and ability to work well in a team.
* The ability to excel under pressure in a high-volume environment with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Well-developed communication and team skills.
* Attention to detail with a focus on consistency
Salary
* The Annual Salary is $75,000 - $80,000 commensurate to qualifications, skills, & experience.
