What you’ll be doing: This pivotal leadership role strengthens the organisation’s ability to deliver high-quality services to its members and communities by driving strategic planning, operational performance, and effective people management across Area Operations. Working closely with Area Commands, Districts, and a range of internal business units, the Supervisor People and Business will play a key role in aligning people, capability, and business processes to organisational priorities. The position currently reports to the Director, Area Operations (Southern), and will soon transition to report directly to the Deputy Commissioner, Field Operations. To thrive in this role, you will have: Strong strategic planning and operational management skills. Experience in budgeting, workforce planning, and performance reporting. Proven capability in managing complex people matters with professionalism and sound judgement. The ability to foster a positive, purpose-driven culture and support staff development. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective, collaborative relationships. An Advanced Diploma in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Human Resources), or equivalent expertise.
