Job Description
Pioneer Catchment & Landcare Group Inc is seeking a Senior Landcare Officer to lead the delivery of environmental restoration habitat conservation and landholder support activities across our diverse catchment from coastal dunes and wetlands to grazing landscapes creeks rainforests and the highlands.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and deliver on-ground works across bushland riparian wetland coastal and agricultural landscapes in line with project work plans and ecological best practice.
* Supervise and mentor a small team of Field Officers and casual staff ensuring safe efficient and high-quality implementation of restoration and conservation activities.
* A minimum of 2-3 years of team leadership or supervisory experience is required.
* Plan and prioritise daily tasks and resourcing equipment vehicles materials to meet project milestones.
* Support recruitment onboarding and ongoing training of new field staff and volunteers.
