CNC Programmer (Starship)
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of all CNC machining and programming operations. The CNC Programmer will work closely with machinists, leads, engineering teams, and machining operations management to optimize productivity and procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Program multi-axis mill-turn machines using CAD/CAM software.
* Validate NC files generated before releasing to the shop floor using 3rd party verification software.
* Maintain revision control on programs and setup sheets.
* Select optimal tooling and cutting speeds/feeds for aerospace materials like aluminum, copper, stainless steel, titanium, and inconel.
* Design workholding for production processes.
* Propose suggestions for drawing changes to improve manufacturability.
* Meet productivity and production goals.
* Keep products moving and alert management when production is inhibited.
* Provide consistent ideas for process improvements.
Basics Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
* 1+ years of CNC programming experience using Hypermill CAM software.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* 10+ years of CNC programming experience using Hypermill CAM software.
* Experience with multi-axis mill and lathe CNC machines.
* Trutops Programming & Nesting.
* VPSS 3iCAD Program.
Additional Requirements:
* Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted.
* Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
* Must be available for overtime and weekend hours.

* To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee under 8 U.S.C. * 1157, asylee under 8 U.S.C. * 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
