Financial Capability Program Lead

At Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), we are seeking a passionate Financial Capability Program Lead to join our dedicated team.

Job Type: Permanent Part time working30hours per week

Salary: $113,691.33 to $118,710.13per annum, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation. (pro-rata for part-time employment)

About the role

The Financial Capability Program Lead is responsible for the implementation, delivery, and support of the design, of an innovative financial wellbeing and workforce development program for people on low incomes who are experiencing, or at risk of, financial hardship.

KEY RESPOSIBILTIES

* Lead the design (with support of management), implementation and delivery of the program, and integrate the service across BSL's integrated service models
* Ensure program delivery reflects principles of equity, cultural safety, trauma-informed practice, and strength-based engagement
* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to recruit and ensure peer educator roles are inclusive, trauma-aware and well-integrated into program delivery
* Represent BSL at industry forums, conferences, and meetings, acting proactively to build the program's profile
* Maintain accurate financial records, monitor database usage (ETO, MoneyMinded), and ensure data integrity across the programs.

What we are looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a passion for supporting the mission of BSL and delivering excellence in your role.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:

* Tertiary qualifications in social work, community development, education, finance, business or related field, or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated experience designing and delivering community-based programs, preferably in financial wellbeing, financial capability, or related social services
* Demonstrated ability to translate research and lived-experience insights into practical program delivery.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement
