Senior Governance Professional
The Administrative Review Tribunal seeks a highly skilled Senior Governance Professional to join their team.
The successful candidate will work in the Governance and Executive Support branch, located in Darwin or other capital cities. This role is responsible for ensuring the Tribunal has frameworks, structures, processes, and documentation in place to achieve its performance objectives and manage risk consistent with its obligations under the Public Governance and Performance Accountability Act 2013.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a small national team to support the Tribunal's Audit and Risk Committee
* Managing the internal audit function and coordinating strategic and operational planning and reporting processes
* Establishing and coordinating best-practice governance frameworks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven ability to operate strategically and with autonomy to manage projects and deliver results
* Highly developed communication skills, including negotiation and strategic advice
* Leadership and management skills, with the ability to coordinate competing priorities and develop team capability
