About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Assistant Director-General, Human Resources School Operations by providing high-level, confidential and professional executive support that keeps things running smoothly across a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure the efficient operation of day-to-day activities of the Office of the Assistant Director-General, Human Resources - School Operations, including coordinating the daily flow of business and providing confidential administrative and executive support to the Assistant Director-General, Human Resources - School Operations.
* Arrange appointments, meetings and conferences including venues, travel arrangements and accommodation, and receive visitors and delegations to the Office.
* Provide support to the Assistant Director-General at meetings by preparing documentation, minute taking and follow up actions.
* Maintain effective and efficient liaison between the Office of the Assistant Director-General, the Office of the Director-General and senior officers of the department and other government representatives and external stakeholders on matters relating to Human Resources.
* Develop, implement and review executive support systems and procedures ensuring that they operate in accordance with requirements and encourage an exemplary environment in which high-quality services are delivered through continuous improvements in administrative systems, processes and leading by example.
* Undertake other administrative duties as required by the Assistant Director-General, Director or Manager Human Resources - School Operations.

What You'll Need:

* Degree in Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in providing high-level administrative support.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
