Your new role
Join us at Eunice Seddon Residential Aged Care, where care goes beyond clinical tasks—it's about dignity, respect, and making a real difference. We're seeking an Enrolled Endorsed Nurse to work on a casual basis, in a warm, close-knit home that values person-centred care and social inclusion.
You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care that supports independence and wellbeing for residents who deserve compassion.
Your fortnightly roster will be determined by ad-hoc opportunities to offer relief to the team, with flexibility to support residents when they need it most.
This role is ideal for someone who believes in dignity for all, values inclusion, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people - especially those who have experienced disadvantage or housing insecurity.
Your responsibilities and duties will include the below:
* Observe and report changes in residents' behaviour or physical condition
* Manage medications and treatment procedures under guidance
* Liaise with medical practitioners, pharmacists, and health services
* Support RN1 with clinical requirements
* Assist with cigarette and alcohol programs
* Maintain accurate documentation
* Provide emotional support and foster a sense of belonging
We are looking for candidates with the following:
* Cert IV/Diploma of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Experience in aged care, mental health, homelessness support, disability, or community care
* Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail
* A friendly, non-judgmental attitude and commitment to dignity
* Passion for enhancing residents' independence and lifestyle
