We are actively seeking a full-time Client Care Manager to join our team. This is a temporary Parental Leave role covering one of our amazing Manager's, supporting 4 homes in the Illawarra Region (Shell Cove, Shellharbour, Albion Park and Coniston).

As a 'for-purpose' organisation providing Supported Independent Living (SIL) to individuals with a range of sensory impairments and additional disabilities, our focus is to create opportunities for our clients to enhance their independence, inclusion, and well-being.

Forsight was established in 1978 by a group of parents and teachers wanting to ensure their children had a pathway to independent living as young adults and beyond. Their mission has expanded to include people with a range of sensory impairments and disabilities, supporting a growing number of clients in homes. The love and dedication of those original parents and teachers remains at the heart of all we do.

With 16 shared accommodation homes across Greater Sydney and the Illawarra and growing, our mission is to provide high-quality care and improve the quality of life for our clients.

About the role:

As a Client Care Manager, you will oversee the delivery of operations and services across 4 of our Illawarra accommodation facilities, leading your home-based teams to ensure our clients are supported in reachingtheir potential and empowered in their day-to-day living experiences.

You will demonstrate strong leadership qualities to ensure quality, safety, effectiveness, and KPIs are met in all homes. This position is also responsible for creating and maintaining a high-performing team culture that promotes inclusion, cultural diversity, and equity.

This is a temporary Parental Leave Cover position, at this stage anticipated from early August 2025 to June 2026.

Your Responsibilities will Include:

Managing and leading a team comprised of a Client Care Coordinator (your 2-IC), Team Leaders and Active Support Workers, including motivating, training, and supporting staff to deliver exceptional care and support services to our clients.

Managing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, their families, and other supporting stakeholdersto ensure engagement and continuous improvement.

Overseeing the service delivery and implementation of individual client's NDIS plans, includingmonitoring key risk areas, including medication management, administration, client safety, and client health.

Recruitment and onboarding of new team members, including managing individual and team performance KPIs.

Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures and audit procedures.

Maintaining a safe work environment by following all WHS policies and reporting all incidents, near misses, and hazards.

Ensuring reporting requirements are met, includingmanaging NDIS planning and SIL quoting preparation, submissions, and managing RPA submissions.

Budget responsibility over the homes.

About You:

You are enthusiastic, caring, and committed to supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life, managing those who work on the front line of care

You will have:

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or significant equivalent experience in shared accommodation services for adults with disabilities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a team in a Care environment, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.

Strong knowledge of the NDIS requirements and Code of Conduct, RPA, Quality Safeguard framework, and person-centred planning and support.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Strong understanding of rostering, workforce management, and budget management.

Experience in a clinical environment would be highly advantageous

In addition to the above, you will also need the following:

A valid and unrestricted NSW driver's license

The right to work in Australia

A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or a willingness to obtain)

A current First Aid and CPR Certificate(or willingness to obtain)
