Job Description 12 24-month contract with a key Commonwealth Government agency Flexible work locations across Canberra, Melbourne or Brisbane Lead large-scale SAP engineering initiatives supporting services used by millions of Australians Resolve Recruit is partnering with a major Commonwealth Government agency to identify an experienced SAP Technical Lead to guide the delivery of complex enterprise software solutions. This role sits at the centre of large-scale digital platforms that underpin critical public services. You will provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, driving architecture decisions, engineering standards and delivery outcomes within a highly collaborative environment. Working alongside architects, delivery teams and senior stakeholders, you will shape technical strategy while ensuring high-quality, secure and scalable software solutions are delivered. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, architecture, design and development of large-scale SAP solutions Provide technical leadership across complex enterprise software development initiatives Drive engineering standards, development methodologies and systems integration practices Oversee release management, deployment processes and production support activities Ensure adherence to security principles, architecture standards and technical governance frameworks Provide expert technical advice to stakeholders across architecture, delivery and operations teams Identify emerging technologies and contribute to strategic technology roadmaps Build strong stakeholder relationships and support organisational capability uplift across engineering teams Key Experience and Skills: Extensive experience leading complex enterprise software development initiatives Strong background in SAP environments, particularly across ABAP, S/4HANA or related SAP technologies Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain engineering standards, architecture principles and development frameworks Experience overseeing release governance, testing frameworks and configuration management processes Proven ability to drive automation, continuous integration and modern development practices Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Experience operating in large enterprise or government delivery environments will be highly regarded How to Apply: If you're ready to bring your expertise as an SAP Technical Lead to a major government digital program supporting millions of Australians, we would love to hear from you.
