Finnsaunas Pty Ltd is a growing custom sauna and wellness construction company specialising in high-end, handcrafted Nordic saunas. Our mission is to deliver premium wellness experiences through exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Alongside traditional saunas, we also design and build complete wellness centres, including steam rooms, infrared saunas, ice rooms, experience showers and salt rooms.
We are now looking for a full-time Sauna Builder (Carpenter) to join our passionate team in Menangle, NSW.
As a Sauna Builder, your everyday responsibilities will include:
Reading and interpreting blueprints and plans for each project;
Selecting materials and preparing layouts;
Timber framing, including cutting / assembling materials;
Construction of sauna bench structures;
Manufacturing and installing doors and windows;
Installation of sauna wall cladding and insulation; and
Sauna heater and ventilation setup / installation.
Work will be mainly all over the Sydney but must also be available to travel for interstate sauna projects.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who holds a Certificate III in Carpentry (or Australian equivalent) or has at least three (3) years of carpentry experience, including previous experience in traditional sauna construction. In addition, we are after someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating exceptional, detailed timber builds.
As a Sauna Builder (Carpenter) at Finnsaunas, you are expected to be:
Reliable, professional and focused;
A excellent team player who can also work independently;
Detail-oriented and quality-driven;
Experienced in solid timber work; and
Confident and safe in using power tools.
What We're Offering
This is a full time position offering a generous salary between $80,000 to $110,000 plus superannuation to the right candidate (depending on experience).
