Agee Panels is a well-established panel beating workshop specialising in accident repairs and insurance work. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Quote Writer / Estimator to join our team and play a key role in our front-of-house and estimating operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in panel shop estimating, invoicing, and insurance repair systems who is looking for a stable, long-term position.
About the Role
As the Quote Writer / Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate repair estimates, managing insurance documentation, and supporting the office and workshop with invoicing and job administration. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication skills and an eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and write repair estimates and quotes for accident-damaged vehicles.
* Use Audanet / AutoQuote and related estimating systems.
* Liaise with insurance companies and assessors (Allianz experience highly regarded).
* Assist with office administration duties.
* Ensure all estimates and invoices comply with insurer and industry requirements.
* Finalise invoices for completed jobs.
About You
* Previous experience as a Quote Writer / Estimator in a panel beating or smash repair shop.
* Strong experience with Audanet / AutoQuote (essential).
* Solid understanding of insurance repair processes.
* Confident with invoicing and workshop coordination.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Professional communication skills with customers, insurers, and staff.
* Reliable, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
