As a Home Care Worker with UPA, you'll provide essential support to elderly clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity. You'll assist clients with a variety of daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. Your caring heart and helping hands will enable our clients to live comfortably and safely in their own homes. Duties will include (but not limited to): Assisting in the provision of individualised care using a consumer-directed approach Helping clients with activities of daily living according to their care plans, including personal care, domestic assistance, and social support Ensuring privacy, confidentiality, and dignity for all clients Responding to emergency situations using first aid Maintaining accurate records of client care Reporting any incidents or hazards What you bring: Certificate III in Individual Support Current Australian Driver's License and willing to travel Registered and insured vehicle Compassion, empathy, and a passion for helping others Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Confidence in using technology Availability Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm We offer: Work-life balance with flexible scheduling Competitive salary and access to not-for-profit salary packaging options including $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for entertainment, meals, and accommodation.
