Psychotherapist

We seek a Psychotherapist who is available full time and wishing to join a small private practice. This position is located in Bunbury, part of the South‐West region. The multidisciplinary team provides services to children, couples, adults and families. The role will include engaging therapeutically with clients presenting with a range of challenges. You will work in a trauma‐informed, client‐centred approach, working with families and other professionals to best assist the client and the community. We have an excellent team of multidisciplinary clinicians engaging together to support clients in the south‐west community.

The role would involve providing psychotherapy and a combination of mental health assessment and intervention. We seek an experienced mental health professional with more than 5 years experience, and registered with PACFA. The salary will vary depending on experience and is set at above the award rates, generally ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, not including superannuation, clinical supervision, professional development or training.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Master's in Counselling or Master's in Mental Health Counselling or a higher degree
• Current registration with PACFA
• Strong experience in psychotherapy, more than 5 years
• Highly developed assessment and intervention skills
• Current police clearance and WWC
