About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Training and Education Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs that address the specific needs of our staff.

Key Responsibilities:
">
* Develop and deliver training programs that meet industry standards and regulations.
* Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills among staff.
* Develop or improve curriculum outlines, lesson plans, and training materials for each program.
* Act as a mentor and coach to all staff.
* Ensure that new hires are well-equipped to provide quality care to residents.
* Ensure that training content is engaging, relevant, and promotes active learning.
* Conduct orientation and/or induction programs for new staff, introducing them to our policies, procedures, and values.
* Provide hands-on training in clinical skills relevant to aged care, such as medication administration, wound care, and mobility assistance.
* Monitor and ensure all staff are up to date with their training requirements.
* Communicate effectively with various stakeholders on your training needs and delivery.
* Implement methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
* Develop individualised training plans for staff members based on their learning needs and career goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
">
* Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Three years' experience in a clinical or care leadership role.
* High level interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with influence across a range of staff groups.
* Well-developed time management and organisational skills and experience in coaching and mentoring staff.
* A personal philosophy and practical approach that is compatible with our values which ensure respect for the dignity, privacy and individuality of residents and staff.
* To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the right to live and work in Australia. If you are successful, you will be required to obtain a national police clearance prior to commencement.
