Copeland Roberts is a specialist Australian auction house for coins and banknotes. We’re a small, close-knit team looking for a versatile operator who thrives on variety. This is a role with room to grow: you’ll start by handling photography, marketing, and logistics, and expand your responsibilities as we scale.
What you’ll do
- Auction photography: Shoot high-quality stills; basic editing and colour correction.
- Video content: Capture and edit short-form clips for marketing and lot highlights.
- Vendor statements: Prepare accurate pre- and post-sale vendor statements.
- Marketing content: Create and schedule posts (social media, email, website).
- Invoices & payments: Manage invoicing and professionally follow up on overdue payments.
- Shipping & logistics: Pack/dispatch orders, process through Starshipit, liaise with couriers.
- Customer enquiries: Handle buyer and vendor questions via phone and email.
- Auction platforms: Upload listings, ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Inbox management: Monitor and action marketing, sales, and logistics emails.
- Consignment pickups: Drive to collect consignments around Sydney as required (travel and fuel costs reimbursed)
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years’ experience in marketing, operations, logistics, or a related role.
- Content skills: Confident with photography and basic video editing.
- Organisation: Strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal skills; customer-friendly manner.
- Tools: Comfortable in the Google environment (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail) and MS Office.
- Licence: Valid Australian driver’s licence; willingness to pick up consignments locally.
- Nice to have (we’ll train you): Basic use of Xero (invoicing), Airtable, Starshipit (shipping), Capture One (photography), Premiere Pro/Davinci Resolve (video editing), Adobe CC (content), Canva and Kit (marketing automation).
