**About the Department**:
This department is currently recruiting individuals to join their team and contribute to the operations of a significant program. This program aims to provide reimbursement grants impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the Australian Government's preparedness package.
**Key Responsibilities of the position include**:
- Supporting the planning and administration of grant assessment activities.
- Conducting assessments and determining eligibility for payments.
- Analysing evidence to assess grant recipient claims.
- Preparing detailed assessment findings and recommendations for delegate approval.
- Stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders.
- Records management.
**Key Capabilities**
- Ability to analyse information, identify issues and escalate potential risks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the capacity to foster productive relationships.
- Ability to organise work activities and complete tasks within timeframes and set parameters.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow matters through to completion.
- Ability to follow detailed processes and work within established frameworks
- Capability to effectively analyse, plan, negotiate and problem solve.
- Capability to use judgement including the ability to identify risks.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and TRIM
**This is a remote position, however, you need to be able to pick up the laptop from their office in any city location.**
