WA is dedicated to enhancing product integrity by committing to the ongoing process of innovation, especially in regards to product and packaging development.Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Planner / Fitter to join our team on a Full-time basis, working approximately 38 hours per week with some flexibility in hours required.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring preventative maintenance, work requests, and ad-hoc tasks are assigned and appropriately resourced and scheduled for completion utilizing MAP WA maintenance resources or contractors.
This is to ensure minimal downtime to the processing facility, while ensuring the facility remains compliant with all legislative and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan maintenance activities via MEX, including preparing parts availability, contractor and specific work permits (e.g., hot work, etc.)Ordering and maintaining spare parts inventoryDevelop maintenance strategies, as well as scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the maintenance of all mobile and fixed plant equipmentOrganising schedules/work orders for the entire maintenance team inclusive of mobile maintenance, fixed plant, and electrical assetsOrganising parts and labour needed in a timely manner for future works, contractor labour and offsite repairs to minimize disruption to operationsAttend to breakdowns as requiredWork with the Maintenance Manager to manage budget, reviewing reports and providing up to date estimatesCapture data, input data for analyse and generate asset reportsAbout You3+ years' experience with CMMS – MEX or similar, essentialPrevious experience in purchasing & inventory controlA solid understanding of basic mechanical & electrical componentsAn Engineering or Trade qualification & mechanical or electrical background would be highly desirable but not essentialThe ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesThe ability to be highly motivated and self-driven with outstanding attention to detailThe ability to build rapport across multiple internal stakeholdersThe ability to work with minimal supervision, with exceptional organisational and time management skillsHigh attention to detailMore InformationAt M.A.P.
