What You'll Do
* Prepare and present high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to the specific dietary needs of residents
* Maintain impeccable food safety standards and kitchen hygiene in accordance with HACCP regulations
* Collaborate with the catering team to ensure efficient service during the 10.30 to 18.30 shift
* Manage stock control and minimise wastage while ensuring fresh, seasonal ingredients are prioritised
* Foster a warm and welcoming dining atmosphere through positive engagement with residents and staff
Desired Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a Chef with a genuine interest in the aged care and retirement industry
* Relevant culinary qualifications and a solid understanding of texture-modified diets and nutrition
* Availability to work the set roster of Thursday through Sunday from 10.30 to 18.30
* A reliable, community-minded professional who thrives in a collaborative and caring kitchen environment
* Current National Police Clearance or the willingness to obtain one prior to commencement
