Our client is seeking dedicated and skilled Warehouse Forklift Operators to join their permanent team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure stable employment with a company that values its employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating forklifts (LF license essential) safely and efficiently to move, stack, and load/unload goods.
Ensuring accurate handling and storage of all warehouse materials.
Assisting with general warehouse duties, including order picking, packing, and stocktaking as required.
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Reporting any equipment faults or safety concerns immediately.
Essential Requirements:
Current LF (Forklift) License is mandatory. Applications without this license will not be considered.
Ability to pass a comprehensive physical assessment to ensure you can safely perform the physical demands of the role.
Ability to pass an instant drug and alcohol test prior to commencement.
Current Australian Driver's License and reliable working vehicle to commute to and from our Townsville location.
Must be based in Townsville or surrounding areas.
Availability to work Monday to Friday during standard business hours.
Preferred Experience:
Previous work experience in a warehousing or logistics environment.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Experience with different types of forklifts.
