About Maroba

Maroba is a dynamic, Christ-focused organisation providing an exciting range of accommodation, care, and services to people within our community. Based in Waratah (Newcastle), our choices of living options span from independent living at Maroba Terrace units through to full care, including dementia, Alzheimer's and palliative care, at both Maroba Lodge and Maroba Manor.

We are built on a foundation of big hearts. If you have a desire to make a difference, you will be challenged, inspired, and part of something bigger. We enjoy a strong reputation within our Community.

We are currently seeking a Permanent Part Time People and Culture Services Partner to join our dedicated team. The role will be 4 days per week and reports directly to the General Manager People Services. This is a generalist HR role with responsibility across all people functions including payroll, rostering, recruitment, retention, learning and development, performance management, and industrial relations.

The key priorities for this role include leading the implementation of new Human Resource software solutions.

* Proven expertise in project and change management, with a history of implementing initiatives that achieve positive organisational outcomes.
* Outstanding communication, presentation, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building at all levels of the organisation.
* Experience supporting and guiding leaders and employees.
* Demonstrated ability to convert information and data into knowledge and communicate that knowledge in a meaningful and useful way.
* Strong planning, organisational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
* Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
* Hands-on experience in a similar role.
* A big heart and a strengths-based approach to people leadership.

This role offers an opportunity to join a not-for-profit aged care provider with a heart, and a team of passionate people creating sustainable caring communities through transformational leadership.

We aim to provide an environment that is hard work, but also fun and fosters growth and learning. We offer attractive remuneration including tax-free benefits, professional development opportunities, wellbeing programs, and a supportive work culture.

We support diversity and equal opportunity in the workplace.
