We have an opportunity for an experienced Operations Support Centre Officer to join our small 24/7 Call Centre team in Walkley Heights, SA. You will be required to liaise with the community, receiving and following through on customer/community concerns to resolution with a professional, can-do approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for urgent works and customer inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
* Coordinate with field crews and the Traffic Management Centre to deliver efficient maintenance solutions.
* Maintain databases, track progress, and complete administration tasks with precision.
* Promote safety and professionalism in all interactions while supporting Zero Harm initiatives.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
What you'll bring
* Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service, preferably in a call centre environment (including nights/weekends).
* Flexible attitude with ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure setting with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Proficient computer literacy and experience with MS Office and database systems.
