We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pre-admission and Outpatient Services team within the Operating Theatre environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
* Pursue ongoing professional development and experience to continuously develop your knowledge and skills, progressing from novice to proficient practice.
* Take ownership of your own standards of nursing care and for activities delegated to others, guaranteeing the highest quality of patient care at all times.
* Provide health promotion and education to patients/clients or groups and carers to improve their health outcomes.
Your Qualifications and Skills
* You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practising certificate
* You will possess effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
* Be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, being creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
* Demonstrate a commitment to providing consumer/client and family-centred care.
