The Role will involve:
* Provide detailed credit analysis of complex commercial applications from $250k - $1mil.
* Conduct robust credit calls with business loan applicants to ensure key risks are mitigated and material assumptions are verified.
* Make recommendations to the Deal Review Committee supported by credit analysis and credit calls that meet policy and quality requirements.
* Assist Credit Managers with the review of assessments conducted by junior team members, ensuring minimum quality standards are met.
* Provide timely feedback to junior credit analysts to support upskilling and continuous improvement within the credit team.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with members of the sales team.
* Assist Credit Managers in upskilling the sales team by delivering constructive feedback on the quality of credit submissions and data collection.
What We're Looking For:
* Commercial credit experience in decisioning deals up to $1 million.
* Prior experience holding significant delegation — this is a must.
* Experience in coaching and mentoring junior credit analysts.
* Demonstrated initiative, drive, and enthusiasm.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Strong ability to build relationships and act as a true team player.
