Are you a Registered Nurse with experience in ICU? Do you have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, looking to step into more of a leadership role? Knox Private Hospital is looking for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager in our ICU.
As an ANUM – your responsibilities will include:
* Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement
* Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
* Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.
* Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources
* Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
* Undertaking direct patient care, as required
* Mentoring of staff
Selection Criteria:
* Current Registration with AHPRA
* Working with Children check (if relevant)
* Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience in ICU (desirable)
* Sound clinical knowledge
* 3 years of clinical experience
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
* Positive role modelling behaviours
* Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the \"Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2021-2025\" (salaries range between $57- $60 per hour).
