We are seeking experienced and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our rewarding company in the Geelong area. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them lead independent and fulfilling lives. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and household chores.
- Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with clients' families or guardians.
- Implement therapeutic interventions as recommended by healthcare professionals.
- Encourage clients' participation in social activities and community integration.
- Monitor and document clients' progress toward their goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, doctors, nurses, and other support workers to ensure holistic care.

Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification highly desirable but not essential for entry-level positions. Relevant experience will be considered.
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred but can be obtained upon hiring if necessary.
- Driver's license, fully insured car is necessary
