Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
1. Describe a time you developed or delivered a clinical education program. What was the need, what approach did you take, and what was the outcome for staff or patients?
2. How do you apply adult learning principles when teaching clinicians with varying levels of experience and confidence? Provide an example.
3. Tell us about a situation where you identified unsafe or inconsistent clinical practice. What actions did you take, and how did you support staff to improve?
4. Describe a challenging communication scenario involving patients, carers or colleagues. How did you manage it, and what did you learn from the experience?
5. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
